At Easter 2019 the vibrant Sri Lankan city of Colombo was the target of terrorism. Visitor numbers dropped 71%. The Sri Lankan Tourism Alliance wanted to rally the industry into cohesive action, build confidence and optimism by creating a unifying plan. The plan laid out actions the Alliance would take to rebuild and support the $4.3 billion industry.
